Return & Refund Policy
Last updated: 01.07.2025
At Tijara.au, we connect you with trusted Muslim-owned businesses and organisations across Australia. As a multi-vendor platform, each seller manages their own return and refund process, but we’re here to support you if needed.
1. Vendor-Specific Policies
1.1. Each vendor on Tijara.au may set their own return, refund, and exchange policy.
1.2. Always check the individual product listing or vendor store page for details.
1.3. If no policy is stated, the standard Tijara.au policy below applies (see Section 2).
2. Standard Return Policy (If Vendor Has None)
2.1. Change of Mind: Not accepted unless otherwise stated by the vendor.
2.2. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items:

2.3. Digital Products & Services:
a. Non-refundable unless faulty or not as described.
b. Includes downloadable files, tickets, or time-based services.
3. How to Request a Return or Refund

4. Dispute Resolution
4.1. If you are unhappy with the vendor’s response, contact us at [support@tijara.au].
4.2. Tijara.au will review the issue and mediate in line with marketplace policies and Australian Consumer Law.
5. Return Shipping Costs
5.1. Buyers are responsible for return shipping unless:
a. The item is damaged, faulty, or incorrect.
b. The vendor clearly states they will cover return costs.
5.2. Vendors must reimburse return shipping in eligible cases.
6. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
6.1. This policy does not override your legal rights.
6.2. Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you are entitled to a remedy if a product or service is:
a. Faulty or unsafe
b. Not fit for purpose
c. Not as described
6.3. These rights exist under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and cannot be excluded, even if a vendor’s own policy differs.
